My Kyphi follows the ancient recipe found in Philae and one of the two at Edfu. It is a laboring of days preparing of waiting patiently for the aromas to steep, and Astro dynamic timing. At Edfu the ingredients represented the 16 pieces of Osiris, the days to steep also have meaning.

While not in the original lexicon I was inspired to add Blue lotus resin, absolute & flowers to pay homage to the Neteru. In ancient Egypt the rarer the materials the more “good” Kyphi becomes. There are some recipes with upwards of 50 ingredients the lexicon has been updated in recent years which is exciting, and allows for more variants to follow.

I’m thankful for the path Kyphi has brought to me in my practice, and grateful to help it aid in yours your purchase includes 12 Kyphi pearls.

"It's like I've opened up something unearthed from 3,000 years ago"

"kyphi is so divine and intoxicating. It smells unlike anything I know and yet like everything, the smell activates ancestral memories I don't consciously remember and I feel like I'm floating in a ethereal cloud when she burns thank you.

  • Through research of the 7 original recipes inscribed on the temple walls I have decided on the Philae and Edfu recipes, Edfu is one of the oldest recorded recipes publicly available.

I do add my own take to this. By adding Blue lotus resin, extract, absolute and flowers. It is a blue lotus power house. These pearls sell out everytime I offer them. Once this batch is complete a new one is steeping but as the process takes time, releases are limited.

  • The Blue Lotus - Latin name: Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea is actually not lotus at all, but has been called a Blue lotus or Egyptian lotus for decades.

The importance of the Blue water lily as the life bringer, associated to the rising sun, and it's growth along the nile in Kemet/Egypt is well documented and displayed in temples.

Royalty used the water lily in jewelry, unguent cones, bouquets and shown throughout temple art.
